The kiss itself was sloppy and rushed. Ianto could taste the alcohol that Owen consumed earlier that night. (It wasn’t as much as Ianto would like to imagine, with Owen firmly pressed against him and in more control than Ianto himself.) There was a sort of anger in Owen’s touch, a distance in Owen’s eyes in which showed Ianto that he was being used.
Ianto pulled away and Owen said, “I’m drunk.”
“Same here,” was Ianto’s reply and Owen nodded even though he knew Ianto was sober. They kissed with more definition and put away any regrets for the morning.
