Pretty excited about this, many negative reviews aside. Of course it's not going to be as good as the graphic novel. The graphic novel was all about structure and interweaving, and if you filmed every bit of it, I'd go so far as to say it would be boring as hell. I know every time I read the story, I find myself glossing over certain details, because this time I was taken in by X theme or Y storyline and I'm not paying full attention to the rest.
But still... tonight, Rorshach's going to teach a jail that they are locked up with him, and not vice versa. That oughta be worth a big ol' smile at least.
