Years ago I got a credit card. It had a tiny little limit, and I used it very little. I was terrible about paying it, but since it never carried much of a balance, even the sick-penalty-pricing interest rate didn't concern me much. 30% interest on a $300 balance is still not _that_ bad. At this time, the bank was not charging late fees, or I was somehow never late enough to trigger them.
I moved a lot, and at some point they didn't get the forwarding info. I chucked as much as I thought I owed at the card and forgot about it. This was... three years ago?
Just got a call from the bank. Apparently they started instituting late fees, started charging them to the card, and _just now_ managed to get hold of me about it. They now claim I owe them... $2200? On an outstanding balance of about $100.
This is going to be fun. Sadly, I can't think of anything particular punitive I can do to BoA about it.
