salem
i got to Salem yesterday by taking several trains and subways. nathan came along for the ride and the two of us, along with my cousin CJ walked around downtown Salem and ended up eating mexican food. we got nathan to his train just in time to get back to his car parked near the Cape and then CJ and i hung out and caught up on old times.
today i slept in and then we walked around Salem some more, buying cheesy "witch city" t-shirts and witch balls: glass balls that are supposed to trap evil spirits. we also experienced a trio of scary tours, including a hollywood horror wax museum (with a Killer Klown from Outer Space!), and an Edgar Allan Poe museum that had a display for Tell Tale Heart - awesome! i continued on alone to the Witch Museum wher they had a 30 minute diorama presentation on the Salem Witch trials. it was pretty good for $6.50.
i just got back after getting slightly lost amidst the beautiful houses.
