KITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
A cer~tain DVD arrived todayyesterday, courtesy of beccy_chan~ So, let me tell you about my favorite boys and their tv show about food c:
Before we get started, you should know that I really enjoy watching boys eat. Seriously. I've lost track of how many times I've watched Mao's "Sugao no Kyousuke," which is basically 50 minutes of him running around stuffing his face with sweets. This is similar to the premise of Meshitomo!, except since there are more boys, there are more themes :D They are divided up into three groups, with four episodes per group :)
Today we will be looking at Volume 1: Tokyo Group! This one has the most presh of presh kiddos, and as such is way too adorable forever. The members are Arai-kun, Shin, Yukkii, YamaYuuki, and Shison Jun. I knew that Jun was adorable before this but when I saw him in his Tenimyu introduction video I did not realize how cute his voice really is D: IT IS. SO CUTE. YamaYuuki is maybe not that cute normally but he is here, trust me :| Arai-kun is cute too but you didn't hear that from me (*｀д´) /tsun-tsun for Arai-kun
In the first episode, "Deluxe," Shinbb and Arai-kun go to a super classy restaurant in Ginza because they are the classiest boys. (They are not actually the classiest boys) (In fact, I think just about everyone in D2 is classier than them, Shin's bowties not withstanding) They watch that cool guy cook up a lobster thingy (?) and he does the whole pour alcohol on top and watch it burst into flames thing. Boys are SHOCKED and I have no idea why, of course that was going to happen |D come on now |Dv Arai-kun seriously freaked out but I guess I don't really expect anything more from him (to be fair he was closer to the fire)
SHIN IS SO PRESH. He is so super cute D: Before they got to the fancy-sauce restaurant, they filmed an introduction bit in a van and he kept GIGGLING. But the rest of the time when Arai-kun was talking, he was all :| and didn't react to anything |D As far as moe and gaps and things go, Shin is absolutely number one~! SO PRESH.
Anyway after they eat their expensive lobster and kyaa over it, for some reason Arai-kun makes Shin gijinka-ify it. Yes, somebody decided it would be a good idea to give food a human form, but it's okay because Shinbb can do that. His brain waves are off the weirdness charts, seriously! :D This part was great because it gave both of them a chance to show off their talents: while Shin was drawing, Arai-kun talked FOREVER :D Then there's a part where they start talking about their hometowns and they talk so fast and their voices are so funny that it just sounds like flilafafulafarafu to me :D Anyway Arai-kun ends up mimicking the picture that Shin drew and gets unimpressed a bit |D
The second episode was called "Deep," which is for sure the D-related word I would use to describe a visit to a maid cafe too. In this exciting episode, Arai and Shin go to a Sengoku period-themed cafe with maids that are really cute actually |D Shin gets pretty high tension and flails in the elevator.
When they get to their seats, they have to wear cat ears because of gap moe. Arai doesn't want to wear them but he has to D: Shin puts the ears on him and then makes him do the same for him but Arai-kun is not impressed by his flirting attempts! Also he is like, the anti-otaku so he is way out of his league here and Shinbb is a little awkward so that isn't making it any easier.
The cute maid brings them a plate of six takoyaki and says that one is filled with wasabi~ All three of them are going to eat one at the same time and see who loses :) Guess who it is!! (Hint: it is not the maid.) Then they get an omurice and she writes "Akutsu-dono" and "Atsushi-dono" on it.
They have to do a magical thing so it will be tasty, and since they are wearing cat ears, it ends in nyan nyan! Arai-kun is so awkward and embarrassed about everything, he is like fffffffffffffffff I *am* wearing the ears WHY AM I WEARING THE EARS WORST EVER D: and he is pretty unhappy but he does it in the end. Shin's like, "Where should I eat from~~?" and Arai's like, "Eat the Akutsu bit! I wanna eat the Atsushi bit >:/" Somehow Shin is like "Now imma feed you, Atsushi-dono~" and Arai is like DO NOT WANT but he eats it anyway, then the maid and Shin say he's moe so Shin does it again and Arai is like FFFFFFFFFFFFFF. And then Shin makes him do it to him too and he is like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF DDDDD; even more and this is the reason why I don't, CAN'T ship it, y'all. :/

NEXT TIME on episodes three and four: INCESSANT FLIRTING and adorability from the other three people in this group. Um, I thought this show was supposed to be about food :/? Also THIS:
Anyway, I have to say that after PDB, my expectations for this were pre-tty low :/ But this show is actually really good and I'm really really happy I bought it ;o; Of course I just like watching pretty boys eat but if that is also relevant to your interests, then you need to get this, now >:O!!
I'm also going to upload it in a little bit, so maybe that'll convince you to buy it :DDDD /eternally hopeful
