So basically I hate school and our secondary education system is deeply flawed and I was full of depression and that sort of thing but it happens! Recently I have been at least eating food again so that is something. I learned how to cook chili! How is that for an accomplishment, huh?
About fandom stuff! Ummmm let's see, kiddo says he's going to be in a drama and he just had crank-in for that a few days ago so we gotta look out for that! He is so much perfection even in things where he plays people that are not good people that basically I will watch everything he is in ever and buy what I can/what is not WAAAAAAAY too expensive, I am looking at you HanaKimi. I am sorta secretly hoping he has a small part in Kaito Royale (Matsuzaka Toori's new drama!) so that I don't have to start watching any new dramas, I am really mostly uninterested in them this season ;o And I still have to finish a few from last season, like Ikemen Desu ne. And even a few from last year, like Perfect Report, which finally has subs up to episode 8 :DDD FUCK YEAH INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM. Recently there have even been some new subs for DeliGaku which is like a miracle! I had forgotten how amazing that show was and I think once it gets fully subbed, I'm going to rewatch the entire thing~! AIBA IS SO GREAT. SO SPARKLY.
A mini-rant about Ikemen Desu ne, because I just watched episode 8: This show is really really mediocre. It's like an idol!AU version of the 2007 HanaKimi with Nakatsu's character split between two people and with JE boys instead of people I care about. The main love rival, Shu, never had a chance because he was too busy friend-zoning HIMSELF like hardcore. It is one thing to get friend-zoned, and another thing to not want to pursue someone too hardcore... but when you are actively destroying every opportunity you get, then I stop feeling bad for you as the unappreciated nice guy and start thinking you're kind of dumb. :| Then there's the female love rival, Nana, who is basically just a bitch to everyone always and thus far has absolutely NO depth to her character. I also have no idea why she's interested in the main guy, Ren, when he takes every possible opportunity to hate on her. I just... find it hard to believe that anyone would be that motivated to ruin other people's lives for someone like that. Most of the rest of the characters are about equally flat and stereotypical, and the story is really nothing to get excited over. But. BUT.
I have a weakness for tsundere characters and... Ren. Just. Ren. In the first episode he is so painfully tsun-tsun it's almost stupid, but from then on he starts getting a little dere-er and dere-er every time, and there are so many moments where it's just like キューン. Normally when you get those sorts of characters, the tsun:dere ratio is about 8:2, I think, but this guy is about 7:3 and recently maybe even 6:4 and it is AMAZING how much of a difference that makes and how really ridiculously adorable it is. There was definitely a point in the last ep where I had to flail like whoa because "100点!" and because REN WAS FLAILING TOO. It was so cute ;~;
Also Tanoshingo. HAHAHAHA I LOVE THAT GUY.
Moving on, so, seeing how excellently well they had crushed my soul with the nekomimi maid cafe thing off Meshitomo!, D2 management types decided that they should up the stakes a bit and do their best to grind it into a fine powder that they could then sell on the black market as part of the formula for eternal youth, or something. Of course I am talking about the personal DVD series they're releasing for D2 boys, in which they decided there was no sense releasing them for individual kiddos and decided to pair them up instead. Of course they chose Arai-Shinbb pair, and knowing that I have a weakness for shirtless, wet shippy boys, they threw them in a pool, too. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. AtsuShin needs to STOP. I DON'T LIKE IT. I DON'T WANT TO SPEND $50 ON IT. It doesn't even have to be Nishin. It can be, like, YamaYuuki-Shin for all I care. Just ANYBODY BUT ARAI-KUN. aaaaaaaauuuuuuuughhhhhhhhh.
I love D2 more than anybody but I am starting to think that management has it in for me. Seriously.
I want the Messiah movie and I want Hyoteimyu and I want them RIGHT NOW. >:(
Recently I have been playing the first Phoenix Wright game, and it is so much easier than the third one that's the first one I got ok and I mean, I thought Polly was easy but this is just like, the EASIEST. I am already to the fourth case \:D/ Also, I never understood why everyone liked Edgeworth so much, but then he showed up a bit in the third one and I was like KYAA, for some reason, and now that I am against him in court, it is just like.... skladjfk;. There was a part near the end of the last case where the killer was going to get away and I couldn't stop it and he was suddenly like "OBJECTION!" and the judge was like, "...yes?" and he was like "...uh. I was hoping I was going to come up with something." and the judge was like "|Dv Right then, so this case is-" and then he was like "OBJECTION!" again and this time he had something and we got some more testimony and I was able to save the day and kyaaaa. Miles Edgeworth is so MOE I can't even take it ;o; He is supposed to be all cool and perfect but there is this huge GAP and ...Okay, I needed to get that out before I start the fourth case XD
I think probably everybody knows this by now, but Mitsuya Ryou is the prettiest boy in the entire world :) Today when I got out of Genji class I was thinking about how everything about him is perfect and wonderful and flawless, and I got to thinking about that part in Detail where Babaryo is like "What do you like about that guy anyway :/" and Mao is like "..." and he is like "welllll??" and Mao is like "...I just thought it would be too cliche to say 'everything' ////" Today that struck me as just about the most romantic thing ever to happen in that series, I guess excluding the Mitsutaka parts in the fourth movie because I mean really.
I also think I need to post more so maybe I should just post pretty pictures every day and then talk about them, or something. I have lots of pictures! :)
