Content: Spin's falling asleep while eating. How silly. Come stare at his foolishness.

A fork dangled precariously in his fingers, barely gripped hard enough to keep in place but not loose enough to fall free. His head was drooping, eyes flickering shut for an instant. It briefly passed through his mind that he needed to eat. People had worked hard to get make this food. It looked very good. He shouldn't let it go cold. The cafeteria was mostly empty at this time of day, but wouldn't it look silly for him to fall asleep? It was so early in the day, and this certainly wasn't the spot.
Overall, he just hadn't been getting his sleep in, lately. Classes had been getting slowly harder, and he'd become increasingly more intimidated by the work. He'd get through it all, only to wonder if it was good enough and revise. Play Badly week in Band had only redoubled the headaches he would get from the music in his head. He tried to soothe some of the cacophony in what spare time he had by taking from the CDs he'd been lent by J, fascinating expeditions that had his headphones plugged into his player for hours into the night.
He hadn't thought much of it. He could always get more sleep the next day, or the day after that. Right now certainly wasn't the right time, no. He had things to do. But he was just... really tired, at the moment, and maybe his blinks were lasting a bit too long.
