The recipe was simple enough, basic cupcakes with a bunch of maple syrup in them. It was the frosting he was looking forward to. Butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, a little well of maple syrup on top? It sounded wonderful.
Absolutely terrible to eat too many of, but delicious. He licked the batter off the spoon and checked the oven. Ah, preheated now, he slid them in and set the timer.
