It was better this time. When she left, she was going back to Ashford. She would be safe there. He had made sure of that. Once Millay had gotten over the surprise of finally hearing from them, she assured him that Nunnally would be kept safe there. She had gained better control of her powers, so she was less likely to pass out from visions in class. And if she did, they had a cover story in place.

But that didn't mean he liked it. He was less focused than usual in his classes. Eventually, he stood up and walked out without preamble or excuse in Crimnal Law. He adjusted his collar on the way, a gesture that could be construed as the old signal. But that had not been the intention. There was no point in being there if he wasn't even going to fall asleep. Matt had his own issues at the moment, so he didn't want to go back to his room. So he went up to the roof to sulk.

The wind played lightly at his hair as he watched absently as the other students engaged in other activities on the grounds. While he had no motivation for classes, his determination to completely destroy Charles Lamperouge's empire had not. He pulled out his phone, and checked on some reports made by the airline crew. A departure from Washington D.C. had gone about as well as all expected. Fortunately, if one is brave enough to risk flying in restricted airspace, flying low made it harder for one to be shot down. Buzzing over the White House usually kept anti aircraft protocols at bay long enough for the jet's defensive maneuvers to kick in. He checked on the account he was funding this venture from. Soon he'd be able to enact the next phase. But first, he had to continue to discredit RLN's entire stable of personalities before beginning its financial ruin.
