Characters: Brook and everyone who was in his mentor group at the time.
Location: The band room.
Time: Backdated meeting the week of Oct. 26th.
Content: Group meetings consist of chillaxing with snacks and musical films. This week was The Nightmare Before Christmas, which turns out to have been a bad idea.
Format: Prose. People can run multiple party-type threads if they want, w/e.
Warnings: Silliness.

In the weeks of meetings they'd had thus far, a reasonably good routine had managed to establish itself. Someone usually hunted Brook down earlier in the afternoon to make sure he remembered what day it was (and this was usually a good idea); by meeting time assorted snacks and tea and soda and the like had found their way to the band room, along with the teacher and anyone else who felt like getting there a bit early.

Getting there a bit early was usually a good idea too, because the only tricky bit about setting up for movie night was getting the furniture in order. The bandroom had a modestly sized couch against one wall, one just battered enough to be properly comfortable and frequently squabbled over by students who wanted to stretch out with their guitars during class for maximum coolness points. There wasn't room for the rest of movie night's setup to be left out all the time though, which meant dragging a couple more comfortable chairs forth from the storage room - no one wanted to watch an entire film in hard classroom desk chairs, honestly - along with the television and video equipment on its wheeled stand.

Brook could manage moving a chair without help, but it was best for all concerned if he just...didn't touch the video equipment, or even look at it too intently. So he didn't, leaving that bit always to those more competent than himself in these matters: that is, to a bunch of teenagers.

At least chairs generally didn't explode without provocation. You know. Generally.
