[Roy looks somewhat concerned.  Asking for help isn't something he does easily, but he knows he's in over his head.]

I was hoping some more experienced teachers could give me some advice.  Two of my students have additional abilities which we, apparently, don't have specific teachers for here.  One has Cryokinesis while ( Read more... )

There is a telekinesis class. And I'm sure Bobby will turn up again sometime soon, I really wouldn't worry about it.

You teach Pyrokinesis, right? Maybe you could use that as a base to tutor the student with cryokinesis. It might be a little harder to understand, but if you work backwards and try to figure out ice like you do fire, maybe you can help them out a little until we get a teacher for it.

I've been trying to think of ways to reverse Pyrokinesis to work like that, but I'm having some difficulties wrapping my head around the details. I was hoping someone might have better insight on the problem.

Thanks for the input, miss.

We don't currently have anyone for Cryokinesis, but perhaps Psychokinesis could be turned over to one of the psychics we have on the staff?

Unfortunately, it seems that Psychokinesis isn't what the name implies otherwise I would point her in that direction. It seems to be something that incorporate manipulation of all four elements. I suppose I should've been clearer.

Thanks for the input though.

Which four elements, if I may ask?

Well, it's not like we can possibly have every single, possible mutant power on staff. It's just not possible since there are some pretty unique mutations out there. I guess the most we can hope for is that any students with similar powers can help each other out...or that they relate loosely to other staff powers. For example, while my main ability is related to moving earth and metal, I can also help students who have earthquake related abilities since my powers sometimes create effects of that nature.

[sighs] And can you be a little more specific about psychokinesis? What exactly does that entail? I mean, I know we have plenty of psychics on staff.

Makes sense, but I was hoping someone would know something about water manipulation I suppose since it's close enough to Cryokinesis. I suppose I wasn't clear.

Apparently, "Psychokinesis" is manipulation of water, fire, earth, and air. So I'm guessing that student would talk to you about the earth manipulation.

Well, maybe they can work with Ororo. She controls the weather after all, so it's a bit of a stretch but it might work for their needs.

Never heard of it referred to as someone who could manipulate the different elements. But, sure, I can teach them how to work with earth, not like I'm not tutoring students in that already. Maybe I should consider starting a class for it if we're going to be getting so many earthly powered mutants.

Ah, thank you. I'll point them in her direction for now.

[There's an embarrassed chuckle.] I'd never even heard of it before, so it was a new one on me. I didn't realize it could stand for a variety of things.
