If you could have seven homes like some unmentioned recent political candidate, where would you have them? For simplicity, let's limit this to the country in which you currently reside. Obviously, we're pretending that money is no object.
Well, if I had the money to have 7 Homes, I'd sure as hell not have them all in the U.S. (Costa Rica would top the list). Okay, okay, stick to the rules:
1. Eugene, Oregon
Honestly, I'd prolly buy the House that I already live in. I really don't think I could find a cooler Home, in a city I love this much. I feel very blessed and lucky to live here.
2. Hawaii (prolly the big island)
I've loved Hawaii since I visited there half my life ago, and I've wanted to move there ever since. I haven't--for primarily monetary reasons--but if money is no object, I totally would.
3. San Francisco
It's like a super-sized Eugene with a much higher population and cost of living.
4. Key West, Florida
I need another tropical paradise on the other coast.
5. Boston
I'm not a big fan of New England for a variety of reasons, but this is one of my favorite New England cities.
6. Las Vegas
Because I'd like a place out in the desert, and if I had tons of money, I'd spend more time flying to Vegas. And it would be cool to have a place all my friends could stay with me.
7. Alaska
I have no idea where in Alaska, but I'd want some sort of rugged, frontiers-like place to retreat to. You know, for when the end of the world comes and all that ;-)
