1st homework assignment for grad school
MY art History (which has to be turned into a map) I cant remember a lot from my childhood soooo here we go
1st large scale art piece age 3, chocolate sauce and the hallway wall
at age 6 I attended my first professional art class at my elementary school I don't remember anything I made. I just remember being confused about over and under for weaving.
age 8 I made a puppet and met john briggs a local artist who showed me how to paint
age 10 was given my first camera and I took a picture of a my little pony
age 13 I took middle school art and made a necktie using trademark characters
age 16 Took a high school art and sculpture class. everything I made blew up in the kiln
age 17 got in trouble for an alice in wonderland mural I painted on the school window because I abstracted it..and was thrown out of art class for the day. but took me like a month to come back
age 18 painted on my first canvas a celtic fairytale couple
age 19 found out that oil paint doesnt mix well with water
age 20 made my first etchings and took my first photo class
age 21 received an award for a ceramic bust inspired by the goonies which also blew up (but I glued together)
age 22 painted a mural in the breakroom of a stein mart..it was of the ocean and I had to have patrick the starfish drinking pina colada, I also taught my first art class
age 23 to present continued teaching art and experimenting with unusual art materials
