.Crisis Averted.
The mural crisis from yesterday has been averted. Using nail polish remover, I was able to strip away yesterday's labor in vain. For you see, Createx translucent paint is thinned down, and contains very little pigmentation. When I mixed the purple, it went to mud. The bottom part became too dark with too many layers. I think I've learned that if you want a particular color, in airbrushing, you must buy the color premixed. The nail polish remover luckily removed just the acrylic and not the oil-based outline. I used q-tips to rub the old paint off, and touched up the outline a little. I guess I have to stop at Hobby Lobby on my way home to pick up sky blue and some type of lavender color.
