I am kinda excited to share this with you guys. I had been lost, confused, but I've found peace...for now. I stumbled by this article so co-incidentally just when I was feeling so blue. It was talking about soulmates and twin flames. I wasn't on any astrology, self-healing or spiritual site. I was on a gay/lesbian portal that I frequent. So I was like, huh, what twin flame? Let's put reality aside and allow me to be spiritual for now. Probably if I stand by what I've always believed about destiny and purposes in life, this article appeared in front of me because I was ready. I needed to read about this at this very moment, not earlier and not later. Now. So after reading a very brief version on the definition of a twin flame on the gay portal, I went on to do more research on the subject.
For the uninitiated on what is the difference between a soulmate and a twin flame. Here are excerpts of different articles that I've found online.

I have never felt such love before. I have felt the passionate, 'I will die without her' kind, I have felt the 'I love her so much that I want to see her everyday and that's why I will do anything to be with her' kind. But I've never, ever felt the 'It's okay if she doesn't belong to me. As much as I love her and I miss her, as long as she's happy I will be happy. And I love, without expecting anything in return, and I love, without ever wanting my love to be a source of pain for her. And I love, and thats why I choose not to pursue our love. Because between then and I know, I just feel that we're not ready for each other. I love, but I cannot explain why this just does not feel like the right time and space. I just know I have a long way to go in my life, and I also know she has her journey to walk upon, before we can ever be together. From her I have learnt and understood myself better. I love, that's why I believe if it's meant to be it will be. I love, love in such a strange and unique way, without having any lust or thoughts of possesion.
