A train passes the green space in downtown Winlock where one of four large rooster sculptures has recently found a home. According to Winlock Lions Club treasurer William Pittman, the roosters were imported from China and painted by club member Jeanie Emmenegger. A fifth rooster has landed in Winlock but is yet to be installed. "I think they add to the town. They are really kind of neat. They are definitely the most complacent new residents of Winlock. They never complain about anything," Pittman said.
