So I'm finally back home in Seattle... :(

After the drinking the night before, I was prime for a day of sleeping in. So I did. :P I spent the afternoon on Kits Beach. It was wonderful! I brought along my sketch pad and sat in the sun and just doodled and listened to my CD player for hours. My muse was wonderful to me. :P

In the evening, we met up with a few other friends and took the bus downtown to watch the AFL Grand Final. Now, I'm a total n00b, but that was a BLAST! I like that sport. It's like chaos and hot men beating the snot out of each other. :D I still don't get the intricacies of all the rules, but it was pretty easy to pick up the basics. We cheered on Sydney... alas, they LOST! :( But ONE FUCKING POINT. ARGH! It was a GREAT game in the last quarter there, though. I was amused by the masses of screaming, drunk Aussies in there. And the fact that the floor was one giant beer pool by the end. :P Wasn't a fan of the meat pies, but the Victoria Bitter beer was YUMMY!

After that, we wandered a bit and headed to another bar for a few drinks. Mmmmm, had a couple of really good ones! I'm gonna miss that bar. Of course, by the time we got home after that, it was LATE, so sleeping in a bit today was a GOOD thing. :D

Of course, because it was my last day in Vancouver today, the clouds rolled in and the drizzle started. We had one last breakfast this morning before I headed out in the early afternoon. It took me like a bajillion years to get back to the 1, LOL. And then of course 45 minutes waiting to cross the border. Canada only made me wait 5 minutes last week. America, why do you hate us?

I did pit stop at the temporary Disney Character Outlet store in Burlington and OMG SO MUCH GOOD, CHEAP DISNEYLAND STUFF. I saw a bunch of stuff I wanted, but I was trying to be good with my money. I did, however, buy the Sorcerer Mickey football jersey I've been eyeing for ages. Seriously, I used to see that in the park ALL the time and wanted to buy it, but I could never justify the $50 price tag. Well, they had it for $12 at this outlet, so I splurged! :P I wanted the old hardcover souvenir book, too ($12) but in the end I decided to skip that one. But if you're in western Washington and want cheap Disneyland stuff, GO NOW before they close! :D

Anyways, I'm still going through all my pics. It may take a bit, but rest assured, they'll be up eventually! :D

So I've just been hanging around tonight. We watched "Ice Princess," which was really cute. Really, really cheesy in parts (not to mention unrealistic) and rather predictable, but I liked it. The cheesy was balanced out with the really good stuff. And some very gorgeous film, too.
