Heeeee!
So yesterday, I slept in, then Fi and I headed out for a late breakfast, and down to Granville Island. Seriously, that place is like Vancouver's try-hard Pike Place. :P But it's still really cute - they have some GREAT little shops in there!
After that, we stopped at DQ for Blizzards, then went on to Burnaby. We rode the SkyTrain past Bridge Studios. Fi saw Joe Flanigan standing outside, but I was so busy looking at everything that I didn't notice him. Doh! We stopped across the street from the Studios for awhile, and saw BamBam, Brad Wright, and possibly Ben Browder (it was hard to tell) walk around. Oh, and Sedge's ass. :P Honestly, though, we had more fun fanwatching! We saw a bunch of other people who were clearly fans walking along the fence and taking photos and stuff. Two guys even walked up to security with paper in hand and tried to get in, but they were rejected. :P WAY too amusing. Oh, and there was a HILARIOUS car that drove in with a mannequin sticking out the back. :P On the way home, we picked up food and took it down to the beach to watch the sunset.
Today I slept in waaaaay late, then got up and played online since Fi was still at work. But then the internet connection died, and so I decided to head up to 4th early and wander around some of the shops. As I was walking down the street, I passed a guy and was thinking to myself that he looked a LOT like Paul McGillion, but it was hard to tell since he had sunglasses on. I was all giggly thinking about how much he looked like Paul, even with a hint of Beckett's spiky hair (although it was toned down)... and then I ran into Fi at her work and she says "Did you just see Paul McGillion walk down the street?!?!" OMFG, IT WAS HIM. SQUEEEEE! I walked past Paul McGillion on the street!! XD Too bad he was too far away at that point to run after him and say hi! :P
After a stop for lunch, we headed down to Kits Beach to look around. We played on the swings. OMG, I'd forgotten how fun swings are! Unfortunately, they don't make them with adult-sized asses in mind, and it hurt my butt after awhile. :P So we headed downtown, and window shopped along Robson St. for awhile.
Spent a couple of hours in a park, too, having a few beers... and then I very drunkenly danced home. :P
But ZOMFG I WALKED PAST PAUL MCGILLION!!!
