Wow, SG-1 was AWESOME tonight! The best in a looooong time!
Some of the 'shippy overtones with Sam were kinda "eh," but they brought some great characters back! I was screaming for joy when they brought Janet back! Then at the end I yelled at the TV "NO! You can't send her back! Keep her! Keeeeep heeeeer!" Bah. I miss her again already.
SGA's "Critical Mass" I've
recapped before.
Oooh! Joe Mallozzi answered my question today in the Ask Joe thread! Eeeee!
My post:
Hi there! Any chance that we'll see the return of Flipper the Funky Atlantean Humpback Whale? You know, if Atlantis needs a cetacean biologist, I'll bravely volunteer. ;)
Joe's reply:
Interestingly enough, chances are better than seeing Janus again.
EEEEEE! (The Janus comment was in response to an earlier question) The whale may be back!!!
I was listening to Tapestry of Dreams tonight (that was a PRETTY parade) and my muse was like, "Dude, wouldn't it be funny if you made this icon?" So I did. Alas, my icon compliment is full at the moment, and I'm too cheap to buy the add-on, so I'll just show it here. (Note: for the full effect, listen to
this audio clip from the start of the parade)
Yes, I really am a dork.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
The book is "Life of Pi"
"There was a bumping and scraping sound against the hull of the lifeboat."
In any case, I didn't watch my requisite movie today, and I only got halfway through The Magnificent Seven (which has been saved on my harddrive for months) the other night. I also got Jungleground (yay, Torri!) from Netflix the other day, so I have to watch that, too. I fail! :P
