I'll finish my story another time. It needs some major editing.

To catergorize or not to categorize. I'm wondering if I should break my journal into sections. Gripes, Greats, Tragedies, Near Death and Misc. These all seem very applicable to me either every day or every week. Let's give it a try and see how it fits.

Gripes: The canoe trip I went on was extremely cold. The water was something like 20 degree farenheit. We all fell asleep when we got back to the campground after a visit to a local bar (this bar had signed dollar bills everywhere, and no it wasn't a titty bar). So the 24 pack I brought wasn't used to it's full potential. It was odd to say the least...and cold and wet.

Greats: I stayed alive enough to come home. Veronica from yarrows golf resort emailed me again. I swear she writes the longest letters I've ever seen. I guess she's 19 and age isn't a factor for her. I always look foward to her emails. I'm dry.

Tragedies: Betty lost a paddle (Betty was the name of my kayak) and a couple beers were lost along the way as well. A moment of silence please....

Near Death: YAY! I almost died a horrible painful death, but instead I get the pain, great pain and live! Like it was spring loaded, a tree limb popped out of the water capsizing me into deep , fast moving river water that had to be about 20 degrees. I couldn't reach the ground of the river with my feet to get a good hold against the current. I grabbed my kayak and a fallen tree in a severe death grip. My forearm has scars from me just holding on for dear life as the river grabbed me. As I flowed trying to breath correctly (it's amazing how real freezing water and panick make it exetremely difficult to breath) my legs had frozen and almost become useless for swimming. I felt tree limbs and such scrape my legs and I figured I could stand on one. I was wrong and was instead treated to a game of stab the shins. The limbs cut a shin open and gave both really big knots. BUT WAIT! There's more. The tree I had grabbed apparently was floating with me, but I couldn't think real clear and felt faint and tired. That tree along with more tree limbs and such closer to the surface of the water , proceeded to flatten me like pizza dough. My ribs got crushed and are really soar. I eventually made it to limestone where I stood for a very long time waiting to see if they could find my paddle. Did I mention the water was colder then ice and I had flip flops on? Or that the wind was blowing and it was cold with no sun and early in the day?

I'll continue with the story later, needless to say I do not feel very well mentally, physically internally and externaly. Most fucked up camp and kayak trip ever. The rapids were fun to ride though.

Misc. Got most of my computer parts. Scott's giving me a cd rom drive to load the bios and such. Need 512 ram more and a monitor and I is done yo. Then I can start on the high end computer.
