Happiness.
Pain at the memory of what she’d seen him go through via the communications system.
All of it is in her expression.
Her fingers shift over his face slightly, like a gentle breeze on a warm day and suddenly she’s kissing him, melding her body to his, breathing with him.
They are together again and they are safe.
Everything suddenly doesn’t seem so impossible.
