tomorrow, im doing THE most important presentation of my college life!
and i havent rehearsed enough! OMG OMG OMG! so this post may feel abit rushed but it contains 3 sets; the SGX BullCharge i went with my girlfriends, the day my family unwrapped a hamper 3/4s my size and the VJ homecoming! :D nothing much to say except enjoy! XD and much luck and love to everyone who has presentations these few weeks! oh and if you were wondering, my halloween was BORING! apart from the usual friday morning breakfast with hakim and hanging out with anh and amanda in the library, i didnt do anything :/ i swear, i need a life. LOL.
SGX BULLCHARGE 2008!
my girlfriends and i signed up for this fun run around shenton way (: it's like the marathon of the business world :D frankly, im not half as fit as them. i mean, sabrina still runs on a regular basis, amanda && liting ran the Nike Human Race and shaoting (who isnt here) is in the varsity rockclimbing team! so HAHA, i was super nervous. LOL.
my number! :D so we headed there from school since we had a meeting beforehand.

oh we also spotted some REALLY TALL MEN. lol. k, they are on stilts.
and the company amanda and i wanna work for :D so we ran and ran and ran and SURVIVED IT! to treat ourselves for running so hard, we headed to Billy Bombers for dinner and did a little shopping after it :D

and fascinated with yh's shorts which i stole for the run (x DUDE, I HAVE TO AT LEAST LOOK COOL.
so even after a huge meal, amanda insisted on getting dessert. okay, see, my darling eats every 3 hours so yes, she has quite an appetite but even we were shocked that she wanted to have dessert after SUCH A HUGE MEAL. lol. and after much contemplation, she decided on the american brownie..
which she managed to finish with some of our help but she still felt like puking after that. LOL.
haha so we had to shop it off (x its been so long since i went to marina square to shop that i felt almost out of place there! LOL. in any case, i got my groove back on and i ended up buying a dress from Ms Selfridge which you will see later on (: i wore it to my VJ homecoming! :D
HAMPER UNWRAPPING!
so the other day, we decided that we should unwrap the hamper mummy received from one of her clients (: and of course, i was most excited. i mean, cmon! how many times in a year do you get to do this? and aren't you just a wee bit curious about what's inside? HAHA.
so i started with the plastic wrapping :D you'll see that this became a family affair. LOL.
after a while, i decided to leave it to the professionals; my parents && nurul! LOL. soon, the hamper started unraveling and OMG THERE WAS SO MUCH CHOCOLATES! i squealed so much (x
but my mum squealed the loudest when she saw..
she was so happy, nurul had to help her unwrap it (x so yes, that was the story of unwrapping our hamper :D so anyways, if anyone is superbly hungry and you happen to be near my place, drop by because we have a huge load of goodies for you to snack on. HAHA. i just finished a whole box of Lindt chocolates so yes :/ im gonna be super chubby by 2009! LOL. and my mum has been pumping sparkling juice into me anytime she can so oh boy, that cannot be good. LOL.
VJ HOMECOMING!
so i arrived 20minutes late and met george, jiahao && she fong in the canteen! (: there was a talk happening in LT5 (OMG, i felt so weird saying LT5 because right now, im so used to LT16, LT17, LT18..) but we were being lazy and decided to hang out outside with the 25th student councillors :D
it was really good speaking to the current bunch of councillors (x HAHA. we got to relive our glorious moments as councillors and to be honest, that was one of the best years of my life. after a while, the talk ended and everyone started streaming out. i will always remember LT5 as my friday morning chemistry lectures LT! LOL. i was always getting bored in the lectures so you'll find me in the toilet more than in the LT. lol.
we spotted a few other people from our graduating class and oh yeah, atiqah arrived too! :D haha busy busy girl (x
after that, we moved to the concourse for refreshments (: okay, the concourse was my mugging area so i was really happy to be there (x
oh yeah, we also realised that george could not pull a candid look for nuts (x spoke to a few of the teachers who (GASP!) can still remember me. lol. as in they even remembered that i had long hair back in year 2! zomgzzz. after that, we decided to head on to the place where we spent most of our VJ lives at (x the council room && stairs.
oh we spotted that the sailing kids have set up shop next to the students' lounge that WE built (x
and that the council adopted a plant! SO CUTE, PLEASE!
the treehouses were still around (: that was THE BEST treehouse to spot hot soccer boys in training! i will swear by it. LOL.
council room was messy AS USUAL! (x
and awww, she fong's sign is still on our door :D
i head for my cubicle :D only to realise my 'mortal' has taken over it !! DARREN!
that cubicle was AWESOME :D i left so many nonsense in it and yh used to leave surprises in there for me. oh yeah, he used to enter council room despite the fact that he WASN'T ALLOWED TO! LOL.
it was like coming home (x soon, we started reading our old logbooks!
that was my first entry in the first 22nd student council's logbook! LOL. yeah, i ate alot even back then :/
and we saw the pledge Wai Jia made to marry DAVID!
and HAHA the family tree! which got replaced in year 2 by the floorball plan because well, we started getting crazy over floorball. so we sat there and laughed at how we were back then.
oh and we flipped one of the tables and realised that the exco will always be part of the council room no matter what!
haha YEAH BABY! im put down in history :D then, we lazed around and caught up with each others' lives!
