fourhundred: the big two-oh!
today, i turn 20 years and one week old!
haha yes, its been a week since the birthday celebrations and ive only, just found time to upload pictures of them :D this year has been amazing. my friends have been an awesome bunch who have showed me so much loving that i cannot imagine life without them anymore! LOL. thankyou everyone who has made turning 20 super memorable :D and for always being there for me. this year has been rough, no denying that, but im holding on all with your love! (:
so turning 20 doesnt feel any different from being 19 apart from the fact that everyone reminds me that im in such a weird age, where im no longer a teenager yet not an adult. doesnt really matter to me since essentially, im still a 16 year old at heart (x LOL. yes, im such a kid. anyways, this post contains mainly 6 sets of photos! my birthday breakfast with hakim, the surprise party my girlfriends (liting, shaoting && amanda) held for me, the birthday dinner i had with my closest friends (amanda, jiantao && anh), the presents i got! including one from yh!, the saturday night dinner i had with my best friend, sean!, the sunday breakfast i had with my darlings (atiqah && ain) as well as the small surprise party my mum && aunts threw for me on sunday :D

okay so, if ive ever explained to you the reason why my boyfriend and exboyfriend are both non-malays, you'll know that malay boys intimidate the hell out of me. LOL. that is, until i met this boy :D hakim's been an awesome nonsense friend who keeps me laughing throughout the day and i really cannot explain why he makes me feel comfortable around him despite being a mat(hematician) [haha, he's a maths major, you see] so anyways, he asked me out for breakfast on my birthday! (:
and of course, i choose BK because im crazy about their croissantwich :D
i felt quite honoured that he remembered my birthday && bought me breakfast && spent time talking to me about our younger days although he had a report to finish. lol. yeah, awesome friend! THANKS HAKIM!
SURPRISE!
so my girlfriends decided to throw a surprise party for me and THEY SUCCEEDED! amanda was so brilliant at pretending there was nothing going on while we were studying in the library! anh and jiantao too! johnathan was good at it too! he just sat and pretended he was in a meeting !! so amanda, anh and jiantao drag me out for 'lunch'. little did i know that shaoting, liting and johnathan were all waiting in the canteen with a cake!
haha i knew i looked weird cutting the cake on my own so i dragged the other october babies with me :D amanda's birthday was on the 7th and shaoting's is TODAY! the 17th!

so my closest friends, amanda, jiantao && anh decided to bring me out for dinner at vivo! (:
we had a hard time deciding what to eat at secret recipe!
after ordering, we had a good talk about life :D
and hey presto! FOOD ARRIVED :D
we enjoyed our dinner and spent time with each other :D awesommeeeee! loveyouguys!
PRESENTS!
i got home only to be surprised by two more presents on my bed :D one from my family and ONE FROM YANHO!
the first package contained this cute little bear and roses :D
and my girlfriends bought me a starry hairband!
my family got me a MP3 plug for my car (AWESOME!) and a blue tunic! but i was most curious about this package which came all the way from DOWN UNDER :D
all the way from Bullsbrook, Pearce, Australia :D and it contained..
memorabilia from Atticus; a band i used to listen to when i was 16! yh used to spend so much time listening to my ipod before he got his and i thought i was so sweet that he remembered i used to listen to this band since essentially, ive moved on to R&B & hiphop now.

colour pencils! :D k, this might seem weird to you but yh always encourages me to draw. he always has (: and well, if you knew him, you'll know, he loves to draw too :D he draws on everything! as you'll notice in his card later on. this isnt the first time he gave me colour pencils, he did so when we celebrated our 11th month anniversary too! he snuck 11 colour pencils everywhere and i had to discover them one by one :D
this was the single most amazing present found in that package :D he compiled an album of his life there.
someday, ill go to pearce :D it really is a beautiful place albeit the fact that its a 1hour drive from Perth City! and he sent photos of him flying his first solo taken by his squadron mates :D it was amazing to 'watch' him fly. he started flying even before i started dating him so its always been part of our lives but ive never seen him in an aircraft (x so these photos were just amazing. it was only then that it daunt on me that OMG HE ACTUALLY FLIES A FREAKING PLANE!
and of course, he leaves me with a card (: BEST EVERRR. and that night, while i was talking to him on the phone, his squadron mates wished me a happy birthday ! and turns out, he even bought a cake for me and they were supposed to have a virtual birthday party with me but the internet connection there was down and since im so far away, they're gonna eat it amongst themselves during Officer's Mass (x
needless to say, i spent my first night being 20 super happy! thanks everyone :D :D
