91st Giro d'Italia - Stage 18 - Mendriso Varese
I saw Cipo... TWICE!!! He was following the race from a Liquigas car awwww!!!
I saw Ale, all of 3 seconds, she was going nuts because a cyclist escaped her interview and she was literally eating her fist lol, too bad I didn't have a photocamera XD
I saw Bettini, looking very ill, he got a bad case of bronchitis, but he still tried to win the tap, I love our world champion!
I saw Visconti, very up close, I was walking towards the town center and he was riding the same way and lots and lots of other cyclists :D
I felt the race swirling around me, not only the cyclists, also the motos, cars, helicopters... it's always amazing!
I saw a looooooooooooooot of rain, but I couldn't be bothered less, poor cyclists though, half of them caught a bad cold due to the bad weather o_O
I didn't see who won, because I was far away from the finish line, but I taped the whole race :P I saw part of the prizegiving ceremony though!!!
I hope the organizers will learn something from yesterday because it was a complete disorganized mess, overall we managed and it seems we got the compliments of the police force, but still there were so many things left uncared for, especially concerning the volunteers.
