Incredible! I love the casefile aspect, and I really love that you brought in Agent Leyla Harrison. This was wonderful from start to finish. Thank you so, so much!

I've never used Leyla in a story before, so that was a lot of fun. Great to play with the meta aspect of her moving on with her life, just like real fans, but then sucked back in so easily...

It definitely got away from me, so sorry you had so much to read when there's so many other wonderful stories to read and graphics to enjoy!

Excellent! A great combination of old faces, new faces, and a case file!!!! Mulder and Scully both got to be right.

Somehow I looked at all of Maiden's prompts and tried to squish as many into the fic as possible. Diana Fowley and Hannibal Lecter and minor characters and pre-XF and post-ep and the future...It's a wonder it made any sense at all.

I'm insane so I do plan to do it again. Just need to rein myself in a bit...

I only intended for the casefile to serve as a hanger for the story...Well, obviously that got away. Anyway.

As some of us are coming back to XF after time away, it was fun to play with the meta aspect of Leyla who's moved on with her life too. But falls back in so quickly! And if the victim was somewhat like the more scary fans...Well... ;-)

And Scully was right all along!

Hah! Even she was surprised!

The meta part went over my head completely. I wasn't in the fandom when the show was actually on the air anyway...

Well, I tend to really dislike meta in fics and shows, so I wanted to use it judiciously, only because Leyla was such a referential character. So missing it was not a problem!

I love stories that fill in the "missing time" between the finale and IWTB, and this one is excellent. Nifty case file and an endearing look at Moose & Squirrel finding themselves unable NOT to work the case. Sweet glimpse of Agent Harrison's career progression, too.
