Final Gift Instructions - 2009
You guys!!! December has flown by, can you believe it?? After a handful of beautiful awesome terrific teaser gifts, it’s coming up to that time when final gifts should be posted. I figured a clarification post might help run things more smoothly during the next few weeks.
TIMELINE:
Again, the time line for final gifts is December 24, 2009 to January 8, 2010. Please be sure you make your post in this time! I don’t want anyone to be giftless but I also want to give everyone some extra room to finish up their gifts and find time to log in and post during this holiday season.
If you know you can’t make this deadline, please leave us a shout at xfsanta@gmail.com. Be sure to give us enough time so that we can start approaching the list for back-up gifters. If the deadlines come and go, and there are some left over unfulfilled requests, we will also be approaching back up gifters.
If you have completed a gift but can’t make the actual final post, you can e-mail us and we’ll take care of it for you!!!
FORMATTING:
Because now is the time for the final reveal, feel free to post your own gifts!! For aesthetics reason, it would be awesome if you could put "Final gift for xf_santa" in the subject line... (just insert your person's username instead.) AND!! If you want to be my super BFF, you can also tag the post with the recipient’s tag (it will be "* username") and "2009 gifts". If not, no biggie. I don’t mind tagging things... it’s the inner obsessive-compulsive tendency I have.
When posting FANFICTION, please put the body of the story under a cut. However, it would be helpful to add a clear header indicating the rating, pairing, spoiler warning, etc. For example!!!

When posting GRAPHICS, all large ones should be placed under a cut. If there are more than four icons, please put the rest under a cut.
Wehn posting things like VIDEOS, FANMIXES, ETC, please be sure that you upload them to your own server and then be sure to include a link when you make your post! Embedding is also an option, but please be sure to make it under a cut.

I’m really excited and I can’t wait to see everything once it’s done! Thanks for making this an amazing experience and for being awesome about it all! I’ll be sure to post a master list once most of the gifts are up and running. I hope you’ve enjoyed this event this year!
