Nice day out

Went out for a pack of smokes around noon, it was so nice out, ended up at the beach for an hour and a half today to enjoy the salt air. Apparently many others decided to do the same thing. Sat around for a while on the sand with shoes off and feet in the not too cold water, listening to the children play, the gulls relaxing yet irritating squawks and the sound of the tiny waves as they rush over my feet and splash my jeans. Made me appriciate friends I have had forever and friends I have made over the past year who will one day be part of the friends I've had forever group.
