January is really goddamn weird this year. It's like national break up month amongst all my best friends. Shaun/Gali: Over. Shaun is back in Naples til god knows when and Gali's already at some other dudes house a week later and some other girl has already moved in to replace him. Anthony/Diana: Over. Their divorce is pending, but she's now referred to simply as "The Bitch" in social aspects. Jessica/Ritchie: Over. No idea what's going on there as it just happened. :/
Granted, 2 of them are for the better it seems. Living with 3 chicks means my house is spotless clean and I feel kinda like a pimp lol. And Anthony can finally go out late without worrying about his wife and her nonsense. ...But still. Stop dumping each other people! Especially since all of these were really long lasting relationships...
On a lighter note, I have money. For the first time like ever. Steady income is nice, Xmas presents and tax returns are just an added (super thick) icing on the cake. New surround sound, new PS3, new big ass 1080p TV, new bits for my drums... I'm loving it. All the ignored materialism I've had building up for like a year now is jizzing itself with excitement at all the shiny new toys. My room definitely wins at being the coolest in the house. Biggest bed, biggest TV (soon), PS3/360, drum set... It's quite rad. All that's missing right now is someone to share my queen sized bed with lol. Maybe soon. I have a date lined up once my license is taken care of...
And all this has happened in the past 25 days. 2010 is interesting so far. That's for sure.
I have a concert to go to in 2 days. I'm stoked out of my mind. Greeley Estates is certainly one of the best heavy bands I listen to. Lyrically they're hilarious and shocking at the same time and musically they nail breakdowns perfectly and do this really cool tempo thing where shit will slow down over time that very few bands do these days because everything is done through Pro Tools and automating a tempo shift in Pro Tools is a bitch lol. Their new album, No Rain, No Rainbow is retarded good. I can't really describe how good it is.
