methinks I shall return it....

Been reading, or rather trying to read 1984 for the whole freaking day, kinda strange and I wonder what this orwel guy was on, maybe he was popping pills or some other sort of crap but I'm well into the first chapter and still isn't very clear to me, which is really weird cause usually I can finish books ('specially ones that are only around 350 pages) like that. I mean LOTR is a very bad example cause I've yet to read those in under 6 months but usually any other book I can, but this is just weird.....I also started Love in the time of Cholera, you know the one from the movie Serendipity? It's cool I guess, I know it ends up alright cause I read the last page.....I do that now, I read the last page of all novels and fictionious works, and bios, but for nonfiction it doens't really work that well....lol...

Anyway kinda have a hostage situation going on here, my friend has a b-day gift for me, but has yet to give it to me so I'm almost like at the end of my rope cause I want to know what it is....I hate being out of the loop and not knowing what is going on....

Back to books, I still want to read the Hitchhikers guide, but right now I have zippo extra cash so I guess (cause of course it's way overbooked at the local library, t'uh..) there are like 50 books that I really want to read, but with spare funds and spare time being just an absent memory. I wish that I could have every book that I ever wanted. nah, too many, I wouldn't have room for them all in my bookshelf.

was thinking today about what would happen if our state of America would somehow become like communist and refuse to let others believe what they want, like Christianity or something like that? I think that's pretty messed up and I'm not really sure what we as Christians would do. Not sure entirely what I would do if faced with the choice of possible death for my family or denying Christ. I would hope that I would stay strong and keep in my faith, but human weaknesses are usually fatal at best. God will give me strength, and if I don't make it He will give me forgiveness.

Anyway just a quick note.......

~90% of the Christians survive and pass the tests of adversity, however, 90% of Christians also fail miserably the test of prosperity. We need to start preparing each Christian not only for wealth and freedom, but for poverty and jail cells. Otherwise there is no point in keeping up with the Jones's, we will only lose everything that our ancestors fought for.
