I must say, this is the first time I've read a journal entry or away message (AIM-the new streetcorner soapbox) that has had ANY semblence of intelligent politcal commentary, let alone real insight. Thank you for rising above the "look at me, I'm smart because I'm politcally involved! I hate Bush because so does Eminem lol!" or "stfu Kerry is a flipflopper!" attitude everyone else has adopted. It just feels like people want Kerry to be a martyr, when he's really not that righteous. If he'd died before the election, he probably would have won.

I'll probably be eating my words when I'm off shooting someone in some desert I've never heard of, but this country needs to honor whoever it puts in office. That goes even for someone Marty McFly didn't endorse.
