Maybe I'm just really easy to please
I like the 2010 Olympics mascots. They're cuuuuuuuuuuute. I could go without the Pokemon-like My-Name-Is-My-Word thing going on and their copy writer really needs to put down the 70's pulp novels but honestly! A SASQUATCH! A cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute hockey-playing baby Sasquatch! And a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee marmot in a toque!
This low-level of criticism probably makes me a bad Vancouverite. If polled, most people in the Lower Mainland want the mascots to be an old-growth tree chained to a protester, an executive in dreadlocks holding a ethically-grown venti triple long shot macchiato in a personal cup and Trevor Linden in a classic Canucks jersey. The tree can growl "NoCut" in Treebeard fashion, the exec can bliss out and murmur "Sellitall" while Trevor Linden... uh... is Trevor Linden. 'Cause, dude, TREVOR LINDEN.
