ugh
I meant to update yesterday but I was too tired in the afternoon by the time I finally got around to it. I was woken up at 3am yesterday morning by our company sametime/chat/IM server which crashed. I'm on call for work this week. What really sucks is that means I can't drink (a lot) New Years Eve. Bummer. Oh well, I typically don't anyway since it's such a long night and I end up feeling queazy from staying up so late. I'm not used to it, having the typical 8-5 job.
Sooo, why am I updating now? Because it's 3 frickin' 30 am this next morning and the same server is down and I tried sending a reboot to it but it froze so I'm stuck waiting for the operations group to manually go push the button to pwr it off & back on again. oh joy oh joy...
I have to go write up my incident report, so I'll update tomorrow, hopefully if I can get back to sleep after this. Which is difficult cuz I get wired from stressors. ugh...
