Mid-September Update
Apparently I haven't updated this thing in a week, so since I'm bored outta my skull right now, here it be:
Girls Team Series Championship - I have 4 out of my 5 draft picks selected for this mega-huge contest I am enrolled in over at www.animeondvd.com. To see what I'm talking about, go to the forums at that site and in the General Anime section, there are two threads (soon to be more once the contest actually starts) in there. As of right now, Team Please!Angel consists of:
- Mikuru Asahina from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Mai Tokiha from Mai-HiME
- Natsuki Kuga from Mai-HiME
- Motoko Aoyama from Love Hina
I have my 5th in mind and right now I'm just two places away from my final entry (hooray for snaking-order!). I gotta start campaigning soon, so if anyone has any good images of those characters, send 'em on over to me
Anime-Source.com - I'm two-timing my AB staff, haha... I have a new staff since now I am a website Administrator at A-Source (that ranks me 4th in command of the entire website). Right now I have 5 writers, waiting for a confirmation of 2 more, and then once we're settled, I'm going to hire on 2 or 3 more. Right now it seems that Spotlight Anime Reviews are the hot item, especially since my latest Spotlight on Inukami! has received over 2000 hits in its first week alone:

AnimeBoston 2007 - nothing... it's dead over there. We have a staff meeting on the 30th but as far as I know, we have absolutely NOTHING to report. Well, aside from getting a new storage area... whoopty-doo, haha. Once we finally open staff hiring up, things will get cooking. Other than that, I have some "personal" business I need to speak with some department managers about.
New Kitten - I visited Mikaru the other day, she actually remembered me, it was so cute. I took some really nice photos of her and some video too. Well, photos were hard since most of them were blurry since she can't sit still long enough. She was more lively than last time... don't know if that's good or bad. The shelter workers let me feed her and oh man does she love oceanfish-flavored cat food. Haha, or maybe just food in general, I dunno... I bought a variety of flavors she can try here.
Katsucon - as of right now, only Guadalupe and myself are the only ones still planning to go. Luckily I had 3 back-ups on reserve anyway, so once I get the green-light from them, we're back on track. Now if only atikiN would hurry up and get me my press pass!! haha
Anime - Currently obsessed with Inukami... but it looks like Mendoi-Fansubs is stopping at 13... grrrr. I couldn't resist ADV's Labor Day Sale (I got 8 dvds from them) and RightStuf and Geneon teamed up for a super-awesome deal (10 dvds for $50... no tax, no shipping). That, plus my regular monthly order from AnimeOneStop, expands my collection by another whole shelf!
House - well, I thought I was all set for the fall, then we get these random warm days all of a sudden. I already took out my air conditioners too. Oh well, everything is moved in, now I can focus on knick-knacks and random junk. I'm gonna take a trip to the Christmas Tree Shop (either Framinham or Attlebourgh... whichever) to get some festive stuff. I've always dreamed of covering the INTERIOR of my house with colored x-mas lights :D Oh, and I reduced my electric bill by $35 last month just by shutting down my computer at night and not leaving the porch light on anymore. I should prolly get a motion-sensor for safety/security anyway. My latest project is applying weatherproofing wood stain to a wooden box I'm using as a mailbox (my old one is too small for the packages I get). Oh, and I learned a valuable lesson.......... NEVER TOUCH WOOD STAIN... IT DOES NOT COME OFF YOUR SKIN.... ewwwww
