SFC2 at the Fire Department

Jul 23, 2008 09:57

Saturday, July 19th was supposed to be my last activity-date with my SFC2 girls, Naoko, Saki, and Asuka... but fortunately, we've managed to squeeze in one more outing together later this week. I have the photos from our trip to the fire station where I work posted, so I'll do a photo-journal entry for now.

I was very sad when I arrived at the school at 10am to learn that Asuka wasn't feeling well and thus would not be joining us, but Naoko and Saki were energetic as usual, so all was well. First stop was the Wrentham Village Outlets... cause... all guys love going... to the... mall. sigh~ Ah well, this trip wasn't so bad. Saki ran around like nuts checking out everything she could get her hands on while Naoko and I lagged behind and gawked at super-high pricetags... even for an outlet mall. At least I got to help Naoko pick out a shirt... so cute. She bought the one I recommended cause I'm awesome like that. I did get to hit the Sony Store and grabbed some pretty nice headphones for my iPod... and they were on sale, unlike the ridiculous prices at the Apple Store.

The girls had fun dressing me up in whatever crazy articles of clothing they could grab... which lead to me transforming into Dai-Sensei Jeff at one point, haha. Saki has the photo of that. She'll email it to me once she figures out how to transfer photos.

After the mall... which included lunch at the food court and some very interesting conversations about vegetable soda (mmmmmmmmm... ::vomit::), we drove over to the next town, which was the lovely town of Franklin where I grew up and now work.

Before that though... this is the photo (taken with my cell phone cam) of Naoko at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company sitting on their bear mascot. No one yelled at us, so I guess people sitting on that thing is quite common, haha.

More photos after the cut...

Joe shows Naoko and Saki the Triage Room

Livin' like a firefighter

Never thought a big-ass kitchen would be so intriguing

Pumpin' iron... pretty soon she'll be able to lift Vu over head... oh wait, she can probably do that already

Paramedic Naoko ready to save some lives

Sweet, a demonstration of the new Tower Truck just for us ^___^

I made this my new screensaver at work... I'm so artistical

98 feet... 5 stories

weeeee!! up so high!!

doesn't really seem like much, but when you consider how most of those buildings are 2 stories and we're way above them... it's unnerving. The wind rocking the bucket wasn't helping either.

heh heh... NOW you get a real sense of how far up we are

hahaha, extreme close-up... this girl ain't camera-shy at all

Saki checks out the inside of Engine-1

this photo actually came out pretty horrible, but I managed to salvage it with migh photoshoppin' skillz

Dammit... don't you just hate it when you're trying to take a photo of something and cute girls keep getting in your way? >___<#

After the FD visit, we went back to the school where the girls invited me to dinner with them. This was good cause not only was I hungry, but we saw Asuka (and Rie!!) in the cafeteria. We all ended up staying pretty late. By the time I left, it was already past 9pm. I gave the girls their going-away gifts... my new tradition of giving cute furry lobsters, haha. They loved them, of course, which made me happy. The girls had a gift for me, too... a thank you card which included personalized notes and a photo of them; Naoko looked so pissed, haha, but Asuka and Saki were adorable.

During our conversation, we ended up talking about schools (apparently anime lied to me when they say students have lunch on the roof of their school... none of the girls ever heard of that). We also got to talking about pick-up lines, haha. Saki wrote it down in romanji, but she capitalized the last few letters to make it read "omae kawaii NA!!"... so I was like... "am I supposed to like ambush the girl and scream this in her face?" This line of conversation ended up leading into some funny yelling and a game of keep-away with Naoko's lobster... P.S. she's terrible at keep-away. Saki and Asuka kept yelling "sekuhara! sekuhara!" then asked me if I knew what that meant. Yes... yes, I know what that means. >___<
