And so, I have arisen from the dead once more, but probably not for long. ^^ My A levels start next week, so I really need to revise, I intend on doing so as well! I doubt that I'll do well in History though, all the practise essays I've done haven't gotten particularly good grades, they're actually going down ¬.¬' I should have gotten the hang of it now, but apparantly not. It doesn't help that there was one essay I wrote on domestic policies, I deliberately didn't let my mind wander this time (usually I waste about 20 minutes thinking of nothing in particular) and wrote as much as I could and got the worst mark so far...because I didn't mention economic policies. Well, excuse me for thinking that economic and domestic policies are from different areas of the course XD As if I get better marks when I waste time XDD
Anyway, school stuff's boring. ^^ I've been watching The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk on Crunchyroll recently, mostly because I think it's a good idea, streaming programmes not long after they've been shown in Japan, and I thought it looked more interesting than Blassreiter XD The first episode was horrendous and I almost gave up then, but decided to give it another chance. The second ep wasn't so bad as to stop me watching, so I continued. The fifth ep though was the best so far, it was actually funny ^^ I still don't really get the point behind the series, but I suspect that's because there isn't one! I'll probably never watch it again once it ends, but it's not too bad really.
I'm still reading xxxHolic, I've just passed a particularly interesting part. I decided to start reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle not so long ago. It didn't start off that well, it took a while for me to get into it and mostly I kept reading for the crossovers with xxxHolic, but now I'm really enjoying it, it's a really good story, there are so many questions though, I can't seem to read it fast enough, I want answers dammit XD I'll have to watch the anime of both series some times soon. I should watch more D.Gray-man first though, I just can't be bothered with all the filler episodes (this is what happens when you read the manga first, I don't really mind the fillers in Bleach or Naruto so much)
Work has been interesting lately. I got a marriage proposal on Saturday XDD It's always nice when customers are polite and thank you or say that the food looks good, but this old guy I'd served called me over when I was clearing tables to tell me how much he'd enjoyed his meal and ask me if I'd marry him XDDD I had to decline him, though I did say to try again in a couple of years ^^ It was so unexpected though, people usually just eat and leave, I did get a little watery eyed XD I was tired, it had been a long day ^^
Yesterday a customer decided to come visit us in the kitchens too! She just came and put her plates on the side and walked off again. There were 3 of us on dishwasher at the time and we were just going "Whut?" As if she had the guts to just walk in though, I'd never dare XD
Most customers yesterday were pains though, it was a bank holiday, so naturally everyone decided to visit a garden centre on their day off, and once there they had to come to the coffee shop. And they don't realise how irritating it is if they give the wrong table number when they order their food. If we're lucky it's maybe a couple of tables out, but sometimes they're right on the other side of the shop, how are we expected to find them? The number 12 does not sound even remotely like 36. They were really annoyed that they had to wait 45 minutes for 2 sausage rolls and a bowl of chips as well, which would have been fair enough, if it wasn't for the fact that we'd taken them out ages ago and suprisingly enough the people at 36 didn't want them. I wandered the whole damn shop and nobody claimed them, so I took them back. It wasn't just me either, someone else decided to go wander with them and they still didn't notice, so it's their own fault really (I know, I sound like a sulky child XDD) So many people had moved tables yesterday though, it was ridiculous ^^
Also, two kids from my school died last week. One of them lived down my street. I didn't like either of them, they weren't nice kids, but still, it's a horrible thing to happen, especially as they died in a fire, I wouldn't wish that on anybody. I feel sorry for their families, it was really unexpected. The police have been treating it as suspicious as well, I really hope it was just an accident, I'd hate to think that someone would have deliberately have hurt them.
