School type stuff

So, Easter is finally over, it's been a long holiday this year, 2 and a half weeks, lucky us ^^ Of course, things get very boring after a while, but I had two trips into York, which were fun. The first was last week when I went with Carla, Lin and Liz, we'd intended on going for Chinese and were gutted to find the place was closed due to a "lack of skilled chefs" XD So we went to some random pub with all these Romans painted on the walls. I mostly used this York trip for dvd buying, a volume of FMA, a volume of Fruits Basket, Grave of the Fireflies and Battle Royale (I thought it was about time I got my own version of this ^^) Gods, that lot was more expensive than I want to admit to. I don't like spending a lot of money in one go, but I couldn't decide between them XD And then we missed the bus back, it turned up but had "Out of Service" on the front instead of the number so we didn't realise it was our bus until it was driving away and I noticed the number on the back and was like "Umm...shouldn't we be on there?" XDDD So we had to wait an hour for the next one (Thankfully there's a bus at 5:30 too, usually the buses to our village are every other hour, so it could have been a two hour wait ^^) so we sat in Starbucks. And not one of us got coffee ^^ Anyway, the second York trip was just me and Candy, the main purpose of this trip was so I could get Jenna a birthday present XD I'm rubbish at present buying, I'll wander around forever looking at random junk, so it's lucky I had Candy to steer me in the right direction. We also wasted a lot of time trying to find the pound shop so I could buy a non-slip mat for my mum. Then I bought some manga ^^' More expense! 2 Fruits Basket volumes and 1 xxxHolic. I've only just started reading xxxHolic, it's really good, I was a bit unsure about it at first because I'd heard it's supposed to link into a lot of other CLAMP series and I haven't read any of them, all I've done is watch Cardcaptor Sakura years ago ^^ Luckily, it's a really good series on its own and doesn't leave you feeling lost, though it's making me want to read Tsubasa now...

Never let me leave homework to the last minute ever. Just don't. I had so much to do yesterday it was awful. For a start I had to fill in a finance form for uni, it was only 28 pages long~ ¬.¬ That wasted most of the day, especially as I couldn't find my account number for my bank so we had to go to the bank just before my meeting with the finance woman. This was literally 5 minutes before the bank closed, me and my mum were just legging it down the highstreet going "Please be open" XDD Once that was done I was dragged around Tesco to pick up all the reduced stuff before it closed ^^ Yay for 9p danish pastries XD So I didn't get home until about half 7. I then had 25 maths questions to do (and this was out of an exercise with 50 questions in, our teacher took pity on us and told us to do the odd numbers, how generous of him) I realised I've forgotten everything there is to know about integration, and it's only the most important section in my next maths exam ¬.¬ I gave up at question 31. I was just failing miserably and kept getting the wrong answers. Then I had to write a biology essay. How I love writing essays. I stayed up until 2 doing that. I still had a history essay to do, but I didn't have it in me to pull an all-nighter, I decided to do it in my free lesson today. Now. Imagine how pissed off I was when I got to school and realised I didn't have maths because of a stupid PSE lesson. I could have done both of my essays and had a decent night's sleep instead of suffering through all those questions. And in PSE we were doing "social dancing" I'm not that great at dancing as it is, let alone the random stuff we were being taught, at one point my partner and I ended up squished in a whole mass of people because we were all confused and trying to move in opposite directions ^^ Actually, it wasn't too bad, it was embarrassing, but it could have been worse. It was a nice change from maths I guess (although normally I like maths, I'm currently pissed at my bad memory for integration, I just can't do it XD) Oh, and I did write my history essay in my free period, and what a random essay it was, I just made stuff up and hoped for the best XD So, that was my first day back, I'm now counting down the days until May Day (because I don't get to sleep in any more due to working both days on a weekend) Actually, thinking of work, there have been a lot of new people recently, I'm no longer the new girl ^^ There was one girl who started two weeks ago, she's awesome, she's really cheerful and talkative, and last week there were 4 new girls on a trial day, 3 of them were just boring, they seemed a bit moody, but to be fair, I probably did too when I started, maybe I still do XD The 4th was a girl from my year, I don't know her that well, but she was talking to me a lot and she seemed to be enjoying herself. I got to leave on time for the first time in weeks now that day ^^ And decided to jump over a wall to celebrate, slightly didn't make it, lost a shoe and got a massive bruise on my leg XDD That was fun~♥
