Sleeeeeeeeeep

Well, I'm now officially a working member of society ^^ Gods, I had no idea how much work it actually was! It was kind of fun though, even if the only time I got to sit down in 6 hours was for half an hour at lunch, and even then I only stayed for quarter of an hour, I got lonely XD I have my own Langlands t shirt too, and an apron, I'm so proud ^^ Even if they're massively too big for me, seriously, I got the only size small they had left and I'm still drowned by it XD The job's not too difficult, I just grab the stuff that comes out of the dishwasher and put it away, sounds simple, but for some reason people have a nasty habit of eating with knives and forks and do you have any idea what a pain they are? They're the only things in the whole world which have to be dried and they're so damn fiddly! I tended to ignore them for as long as possible because if you do them then everything else starts piling up behind them, but then people run out or the pile of dirty ones starts overflowing! Other than putting stuff away there was clearing down tables, which I also hate doing, some people are right filthy little beggars and if you can't eat all the food, don't buy so much! (that's just me hating wasteage though) Then there's wiping down dirty trays, really easy job, but there's not much time to do it, and taking out people's orders, which is kind of fun. Some people are really nice when you take their food to them, some just ignore you, and I swear I heard one person complaining about how long it took, like it's my fault, I didn't make the damn stuff XD I've only worked there one day, but I've already decided the dishwasher girls are underappreciated ^^ I mean, nobody else really moves around too much, except the people out front, and we're the people who get sent to fetch and carry regardless of how much the washing's piling up! I really don't like seeing piles of washing though, I have an urge to put it all away and then I'll get sent to take out an order or get told to clear down tables instead. But despite all my complaining I actually did enjoy myself XD And we get given any food that gets broken, we shared out a cherry scone, some bacon and once the breakfast time was over there were piles of mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread and black pudding to throw out, so we could grab what we wanted from there too. My shoes are pretty uncomfortable and I've now found blisters coming up on my little toes, so I'm going to wear some different ones, just for tomorrow, I can cope with my shoes for one day, but two in a row is a bit too much for my feet to cope ^^ Yes, I agreed to go in tomorrow as well! They asked me at the start of the day and I agreed straight away, now at the end I'm tired and regretting giving up my last day of the weekend, but I don't mind too much, I can only work Sundays for the next couple of weeks anyway and at least I'll be working with Sarah tomorrow ^^ Actually, I don't think she does dishwasher, so I won't really see her that much...oh well ^^
