It's a small picspam. Those pics are rear and precious. And they are amazing! Some may say, that they don't mean anything, that they are accidental, but we know better! :)
This is the truth, the truth about Dean. It's he. He and his wandering halos.

His world has just become much more complicated. Dean has learned to see shades of gray.
- What if we killed things that didn't deserve killing?
And he started carrying even more guilt.
-The way our dad raised us, but what if he was wrong?
And, man, hate them and I want to kill them, but what if they don't deserve to die?
His world has become more complicated. It's not just black and white any more. There won't be "because dad said so" any more, there won't be no more simple solutions.
No. His decisions are always simple, but it's very hard to make them.
We all know, which decisions are right, we just don't want to make them. We want to keep our coats white and our hides intact. We want escape the necessity to make tough decisions.
But you can take whatever you want if you are ready to pay the full price.
A right decision are simple, when you don't lie to yourself. And then you pay.
The most simple ones are always the most difficult.
- But you didn't kill Lenore.
- Because you are a pain in my ass
- I guess, I might have to stick around and be a pain in the ass then

It's not a halo, but it's Dean in the column of light. An avenging angel, a higher justice, an inevitable law.

He is alone in the dark against a monster. And everybody thinks, that he is an enemy, even those whom he protects, those who are supposed to be on the same side with him.
The Winchesters are "the guardians of the threshold". The normal world leads its normal life and in the dark an invisible war goes on. They fight in order to preserve the borders of the reality, in order to keep spawns of underworld away from the human world. And people don't understand and fear the guardians almost as much, as they fear monsters. They are strangers in their own world. That's why I abhor the writers' idea to take everything away from them. You can do it, but will they have a reason to fight further on, if they are in the vacuum?

A safe haven, you just don't look, don't pay attention, stop taking risk, don't menddle and just walk away? It means you have to stop being yourself. And Dean is not able of treachery.
