Happy Mothers Day
So I went to get a pizza and some groceries, and on the way back I was walking through the Minto buildings like I have done a thousand times before.
Right there on some bricks was an envelope. I walked over and looked around and no-one was there. I looked at it and knew it was from someone in the building but knew that they probably were out because people usually sit there to wait for thier ride.
SO I took the card and realised it was a mothers day card because I could see the title through the envelope and the back of the envelope said Carleton Cards. So I decide to mail it for whomever.
So as I am walking home the same route I take everyday, I look down and there is 5 bucks just laying there. Karma??
So I get home and I look up the person its being sent to and I call her up in a disttant part of Ontario, and I tell her, their kid lost thier card but I mailed it and told her to be expecting it. I didn't giver her my name, but she was very shocked and said thank you very much and was a very nice lady. I said Happy Mothers Day and I hung up. She will never know who I am.
But it was just a really nice feeling to be the good samaritan again.
