I had about 200 songs on my (newly aquired) Ipod Touch during the beginning of the year. Now I have almost 2000. WTF?!
I think it's because I'm in a school where music is a HUGE part of everybody's lives. But still, it's not like I've been absorbing my friend's musical tastes- I've just been going online and finding more shit myself! My friends mostly listen to rap, gospel, r&b and stuff like that. I have been getting more tolerant to their types of music but I don't really think I'll ever get into it so much to have it on my Ipod. (With the exception of maybe some of my friend's music. I'd love to get a hold of Kenneth's tracks and beats some day, and there's this singer Sheldon who Kenneth's been working with that kicks ass.) Sometimes I'm the one showing them new things.
I don't know why I'm posting this here, but I'd like to take this time to sift through my Ipod and show you guys what I have on it. The way I select music is tedious: I look up an artist on Wikipedia, see their discography, and pick 2 albums at random to download (I usually use google and download stuff from mediafire or sites like that. I'm so EVIL! :P) I then listen to the whole album and delete songs I don't like. Then, if I end up enjoying the group, I download another album.

Things I used to have on my old MP3 Player that I haven't downloaded yet:
The Cure, A Perfect Circle, Queen, Depeche Mode, Ozzy Osbourne, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blind Melon, Concrete Blonde, Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Jack off Jill, etc etc etc... Not to mention the classical music you know I enjoy.
I dont know wtf to call my style. I don't like the label Goth, so... "Alternative Mindfuck?" Lol, when I put my Ipod on shuffle it sounds like I have multiple personalities
If you think you know of something I might like, then tell me about them! XD
