Home for Thanksgiving Break!
And I hope to actually figure out what's wrong with my game so I can play again.
I'm thinking about taking out the majority of my custom content- and if that doesn't fix it, I might have to do a reinstall. I'm dreading doing that, but I do have all of my favorite sims on backup files. Unfortunately, I left AL back at the dorm. :/
On the home front, there is a new fuzzy addition to the family. He's a beautiful flame-pointed himalayan (with a red face/ears/tail instead of the normal black) that is about 12 years old named Cosmo. I think it's so sad that the family had to give up a kitty that old, but I hope he'll be happy in our new home... And adjusts to our other fuzzy friends here eventually.
Right now though, he's terrified and hiding under my bed. He's come out to eat and went in the litter box before, but the other boys keep hissing and growling at him- so it's better off that he stays in my room anyway. Luckily he doesn't seem to be that scared of me. Despite him growling at me when I pick him up, he seems pretty calm. He's gotten to the point that he's curious about his new surroundings and wants to look around, but if anybody else tries to touch him (like my mom) or the other cats come near him, he runs and hides again. I'm hoping that will last only a few more days, but we'll see.
