Kyo’s P.O.V:

I opened my eyes, adjusting to the light. Yoshiki’s room, where else did I expect to be on a Friday night? I don’t really have a social life anymore but, eh, I’m getting my livings out of this. Even thought I feel dirty I know I have no say. I pushed myself up from the bed, walking over to the window. The car was gone?

“He must have gone out?”

And that’s a bit unusual; Yoshiki’s never ditched me then gone out again-

“HEY, Why need me here when you’re out, ASSHOLE?!”

Kicking the lamp, I lifted my coat, heading back home. Before I reached the door I wondered; was it really wise of me to leave without a note? Well, my job is on the line....maybe I’ll just text him. GOD, I’m getting on like a freakin’ housewife!

Kaoru’s P.O.V:

I held Toshiya’s warm hand in my larger one as we walked towards my car. Toshiya had wrapped his arm round my own, leaning inwards to me. I had to admit, I liked this sort of attention, especially from such a stunner. Toshiya was exactly what I had been waiting for all these years. God, I sound so old.

“Are you going to bring me home, Kao-Senpai?”
He giggled.

“Hey, I’m not old!”

“You are. Just get over it Kaoru.”

I held the door open for him as he smirked, settling down in the front seat. Let the mocking commence.

“Beeeeh, Kao, you know I’m only winding you up! You’re quite young~”

“That’s what I like to hear.”

“But I like older men...”

I quirked my brow at him, he always has a comeback. He truly is a minx.
Starting the car I let out a sigh of defeat leading to Toshiya raising his arms in triumph. Tsk, he really does have to have it his way. I smiled nonetheless; he’s too cute to bust his bubble of happiness right now.

“Kao~”

“Hm?”

“It’s almost Halloween, isn’t it?”

“Ah- yes, next week will be Halloween week at the office.”

“Oh.”

All quiet again. I knew Toshiya was contemplating again, which wasn’t a very good look for him-him thinking? Pfft. I kid. He has a cute face but maybe when others see him, he looks retarded.

“Will you be looking forward to my costume then, ehh?”

“Ah, Hum.-cough- well....we shall see...”

I felt him nudge my arm playfully, I smiled. Simple but effective. I know he’s trying to tease me; it’s his speciality of course. God, I don’t want to think about what scrumptious outfit he’ll have for the week, I know for a fact he’ll use it against me. And at work- that’s not going to turn out well. However it is interesting seeing everyone dressed up, it’s as if they are dressing like what the feel on the inside, their inner selves. It’s fun, I guess.

Wait, it’s too silent.

“How about-“

Toshiya’s face was pale, sickly pale. Something was wrong.

“Toichi.....”

As I turned a corner there was a burst of light, flames more so. I squinted trying to make out what was on fire. Looking back at Toshiya I stopped the car. No, it couldn’t be this house, could it? Coming to a halt, Toshiya jumped out of the car, running over to his house, just being held back by one of the firemen.

“Miss, you can’t go in, it’s dangerous!”

“B-But my stuff! What about Kyo!”

“Calm down miss, we couldn’t save anything, the fire spread rapidly.”

I ran over, pulling Toshiya into my arms, gazing at the burnt house. Kyo?

“Was there anyone in the house at the time?”

“No. No one accounted for anyhow.”

“Do you know how the fire started?”

“It appears the gas was left on and a wired tricked.”

“....Then someone had to be in to turn the gas on?”

“Well, it looks that way but on the other hand someone could have left it on by accident.”

Toshiya started to cry, nuzzling his head against my shoulder. I wish I could do something but this was out of Kaoru-Sama’s hands. I stroked his tangled locks.

“C’mon, I’ll bring you back in the morning, eh?”
Yoshiki’s P.O.V:

“Yoshiki, is that you?”

Heh, he woke up? Lucky me.
I headed up the stairs, entering my room to see an annoyed, cross-legged Kyo. I smirked, throwing my coat over the drawers. Moving to lean against the bed frame I felt a twinkle in my eyes. Kyo actually knew to obey and stay until I came back; I could tell by his eyes he’s been awake for a while now.

“Where were you?”

“Ooh, feisty little wife.”

He blushed, leaving the bed going to the bathroom, speaking before he slammed the door.

“I’m gonna shower.”

I grinned, waiting for the sound of water. Lifting the key out of my jeans I shoved it back where I had taken it from; Kyo’s coat pocket.

I smirked, almost sadistically.

“Now will they live together?”
Kyo’s P.OV.:
I leaned against the wooden door, listening to the water pour down the drain.

He didn’t answer me, of course he mocked but that’s not conversation. And come to mention it..... he smelt of smoke. Does Yoshiki-sempai smoke?

“.....Did he get burnt or something?”
