i almost forgot!
since doctor carey is being all slow about everything, and odds are that i'm not going to have surgery before september 27th, i have to go to another appointment.
this doctors appointment sounds more life a torture chamber to me. they stick needles (and i don't care about how small they are) into my MUSCLES (that's right, not the skin, not the vein, the muscle) and then use electric current to test how fast they react. now, i'm am absolutely petrified of needles. i spent 30 minutes arguing with my mom about a blood test and why i shouldn't have to do it. and to have to have like 20 (well, maybe 20, i don't really know) in my muscles, well, i might die. i looked up these tests and it said that "the patient may experience some discomfort during these tests", and you know what that means. doctors call it "some discomfort", but i know the truth. it's probably going to hurt like hell.
the funny thing is that the doctor that wanted to do these tests is the one who said that my muscles were functioning fine and i was lying to him about how they felt weak. he said that these tests would be interesting to do. not because they will diagnose anything, but because they'll be interesting. more like he wants to prove that i was lying. well, i'll show him.
besides, how bad could it be? can't be much worse than the pain i've been in lately.
