viva es bueno
These last few days have been really great.
Jaime spent the night last night and we hung out with Alyse and Will (later on). It's a bummer for Alyse right now - they are being evicted. So now her and Will will (heh) be living with Alyse's parents. That makes 2 parents, Alyse and her brother, her brother's girlfriend/baby mama, the baby, Will and Alyse's grandmother. Plus about 6 cats, a dog and a bird. That's a lot of life in one place! I know that Alyse and Will are pretty bummed about the whole thing, but they will get through it ok...she's certainly faced worse, and always managed to get by. Aside from that, Jaime gave me a much needed haircut, which my boss praised, and then stayed here and went through all my stuff while I was at work. I know what you found Jaime, and there WILL be consequences, hah.
Speaking of work, today was good. We were super busy all day, but I think I did the most, sales wise, today than I've done so far. It was exciting, even if I am pretty tired now that the day is over.
The other big news for me at the moment is that...well, I've met a girl, heh. I met her through match.com, and we emailed back and forth a bit before talking til 2:45 in the morning on Wednesday night. Then Thursday, I met her at her apartment complex and we walked around and talked till...well, about 2:45 that morning. I'm being cautiously optimistic, but so far all the signs point to at least some actual Adam dating again, and that totally rules. I had forgotten the excitement that comes with really clicking with someone for the first time...it's really pretty indescribable, but amazing. I will of course keep the LJ crew posted :)
Now I'm prolly just going to lounge around some and catch up on all the shows I have saved on my DVR. I love that Seinfeld comes on 5 times a day down here and The Simpsons 2...I always have something to watch!
