I had a perfect witnessing opportunity tonight but I didn't find how the best way of approaching the altercation would be. My friend Paul and I were going to Whataburger. As we pull into the parking lot, some teenagers yelled "Are you gay?". This all happened as we were headed towards the door. I look back at them for a moment and then proceed. I open the door for my friend Paul and they go "How sweet". The sarcasm was heavy and unappreciated. I began to feel frustrated at their ignorance but then realized that they might not even know Christ. The Bible tells us to "Bless those who curse you". I could have had the opportunity to go up to them and approach them about Jesus Christ but I didn't realize if that would be an awesome idea or not.
The moral to this story is, don't let anyone pee on your parade. If you are having a good time and hanging out with a friend, don't let anyone who is unhappy let you down too. Pray for them and hope that they find their fulfillment in something bigger than making fun of others. That is all I gots to say about that.
