Don't you just hate it as well? These people with their sites of all the stuff one should know when writing fanfiction. Where they tell you the do's and don'ts and the 'how to write *good* fanfiction'. They try to give you lessons on it and how to do this and that oh and your fic sucks to hell if you don't

They are mostly people who only know a little about writing, and can't stand anything different.

I just ignore people who tell me how to write, unless they are professionals and they give good reason why they want me to change things.

Well, both German and English are my native tonge, kind of. My mum is german and my dad is english, so I grew up bilingually. I prefer English, though, so I write fanfic in English.
