I SOLD MY VAN!! IT'S DONE AND DUSTED!! MONEY'S IN THE BANK!!
After three attempts to sell this bitch spanning years, it's finally sold. The buyer is someone we know from church, she knew every thing wrong with the van, including the things I wouldn't tell a non-friend, and she was still glad to buy it. SO AWESOME
Photos are up at work. The morning crew saw me put them up (before we opened yesterday) and word got around that they're mine, and the compliments flowed like water. But I work at night, and the night crew was amusingly unaware that the photos are mine. There is a poster identifying me as the photographer, but it is quite difficult to read. Humorously difficult to read, considering the maker's habit of doing that. So I have to spread the word, leading to some funny responses ("Oh, those are yours? All of them?"). But seeing people walk past like they've got something important to do, stop as a picture catches their eye, move in for a closer look, and linger to give each photo a share of contemplation... that's better than the most flattering compliment.
The E7 movie's credit roll is still hard awesome. It's somehow better than the whole movie yet wouldn't be as good without the movie. Fucking seven-minute plus trance-rock song played in its entirety like Danny Boyle (and the original series) would. Dreamy and series-summarizing and Love. and Love. E7 is Love. Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers.
