Gaiden.T_T I've read the Russian chapter and almost cried over pp16-17, but didn't. I think I might just cry my way to sore eyes once the translations are out though. And--
Gojun was vomiting blood there at the end, right? Does that mean he really did die and turn into Jeep..? Whap me one for focusing on such a thing, but it's been bugging me since that time we saw him writing, uh, his memoirs.

This is rather late, but I might as well talk about our "swimming" trip~
The ride to Bulacan was long but fun, shock-filled with stories and harmless jokes that are norm for SIGIL. As we entered Bulacan though, (comfortable) silences occurred more often, and longer, which led to the (half-meant) joke that this might be why Zychez is so quiet; he's arguably the quietest member of SIGIL. But, really, the place was really rather quiet.
Zychez met up with us at
Barasoain Church. It's something of a tourist spot here in the Philippines (it's in the old 10-peso bill) and it was my first time going there--but it was rather disappointing, really. I don't know if it was the wedding going on or the fact that I haven't stepped foot inside a large church in a long while, but it just didn't feel like a church to me. And while it reminded me of the St. Joseph's Parish (something of a tourist spot as well because of its
Bamboo Organ), I like St. Joseph's better.
(I just happened to read the end of the wiki article on the Bamboo Organ and--Msgr. Allen is in Peru right now?O_o He was our sch**l director when I still went to St. Joseph's Academy so it's kind of weird to think...the concept of missionaries have always been rather odd/fascinating to me. *shrug*)
Anyway, Zychez came soon so we didn't get to stay too long there. I chose to ride with him instead of the others to the resort house and fell asleep along the way, much to the chagrin of the rest of SIGIL who were watching us from the other vehicle (haha, you guys). It feels longer, but they said it was only about 15mins. or so. The resort/farm/"so this is your garden?" had chickens and turkeys running around (and Kyn kept chasing), lots of green, a locked (resort) house, a pool, a fishpond, two huts and a stage, playground equipments and...yeah, I suck at descriptions. I'd post pics, but since we had four photographers with us, I didn't bother bringing a camera.~_~ Sorry.^^;;
As soon as everyone's stuff was unloaded, Kuya Harvs and Shobe Jen started cooking (the running joke being Shobe Jen cosplays Bianchi, this Reborn! character whose weapon is her "Poison Cooking") while the others ran the grill and stuff. I'm a total idiot in the kitchen, and itchy and lazy, so I didn't (dare) help. They made food good for maybe thrice or four times our number. We had lunch and dinner there and still had a bit to take home.^^;;
The silliest part about this swimming trip is that we didn't 'swim', not in the pool anyway. It was really dirty because of recent rain and there were tadpoles swimming at one corner...I don't think anyone even dared to stick their hands into it the entire time we were there. After lunch we just sort of hanged around in the playground until Shobe Jen and Zy felt like fishing, and of course there was no fishing rod to be had. So Zy made one out of a stick and a string, Shobe Jen's pin, and I think you call it a floater or something and off to the fishing pond we went. Shobe Jen caught a fish, like, five seconds after throwing the bait. I held the rod for the next twenty or so minutes, changed locations three times and lost about six or so baits, and caught absolutely nothing.T_T
Gave up the rod back to Shobe Jen, and helped Zy look for worms. Mind you, I found quite a few, though I refused to hold any of them (but
I've held worms before, in Zambales). Around this time Kuya Harvs had had enough of fishing and jumped into the pond himself, with Kyn following soon due to the heat. When I learned that Papa (Paul) had also joined them to help Kuya Harvs fish (with a net), I changed into my bathing suit and joined them too.
asdfghjkl; The mud! It took me awhile before I stopped clinging on the ladder/the others and stood on my own (ankle-deep in the icky, icky sludge before getting a good footing). It was really disgusting. And I kept splashing water so the fishes wouldn't come near. At one point Kuya Harvs and Papa moved to the other end of the pond and finally caught four fishes, one of which got its gills caught on the net and wasn't released along with the rest. They left me and Kyn to bring the net back up and I splashed like crazy when Kyn announced there was still a fish on the net!
Kuya Harvs and then Papa jumped into the pond from the bridge over it (where the others were with their cameras and improvised fishing rod) several times before we decided to leave. I'm not sure if I got it from the fishing/worm-digging or the 'swimming', but I got myself a tan. Nikki noticed it yesterday and said it suited me 'coz I no longer look pale (that's the first time anyone's called me 'pale' though.>_>) but, augh, I really hate getting a tan.DX
We ate dinner, sang some karaoke, then packed up 'coz it was getting late. I was asleep for most of the ride home and got back around midnight.^^ The End~.
