There isn't a single person in the entire world who knows how I'm feeling right now. No one knows this strange feeling I have in my stomach. No one knows how bad I want to scream out loud, how bad I want to cry. I saw the most amazing, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life tonight and I have to let everyone know. Things like this don't happen very often. Only like, once in a lifetime, if that. I was taking pictures at the fire tow (which I will post in a few days) and as I was walking down, something made me stop. So I stopped and sat down on the steps. I looked ahead of me and saw a small spider spinning its web. It had just started, so I watched it throughout the entire process. (keep in mind I'm horrified of spiders). I watched a spider spin an entire web. And if that's not cool enough, something made me turn my head to the left and there was another spider, spinning another web. Wicked fucking cool. So I watched that little guy for a few minutes, but went back to the first one, only because I could see it better. So I watched it spin its web, when a gnat flew into the web. I watched it wiggle around for a little bit, but the cool thing was, was that the spider was facing the opposite direction when the gnat landed in the web, and the spider turned around and hauled ass over to the gnat. I watched the spider wrap the gnat up in its silky thread, then carry it to the center of the web. The spider finished building its web, then went back to the center and I watched it suck the blood out of the gnat. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. It's soo much more different watching it in real life than on the Discovery Channel. It totally is. And if none of you appreciate it then I am apologizing to you right now because it's amazing.
Maybe this is a turning point in my life, or something crazy. Maybe I do believe in God now. . . or something. Because, and I know this is going to sound lame, but seriously, this has completely changed my life. This one situation that only lasted about 25 minutes, has completely changed my life. So, maybe a God does exist. This doesn't mean I believe in Heaven or Hell. But, I guess something comes out of it. . .
