I never made it to DJ Spooky

I haven't updated in about two weeks, and that makes sense considering that I am just now starting to recover from the mental exaughstion that has been the last two weeks. SAT teacher training was like cramming two years of high school academics into 30 hours, though it was very fun and interesting there was just too much going on on top of it. I did regular work, had a two day fever with a week long cold, and the this semester grades will not recover from the late assignments and procrastination. I had four paper cuts on my left index finger at one point and after writing 13 pages on Symbolic Convergence Theory and MySpace I've been unable to unplug from that timesucker for longer then two hours at a time. I had an anxiety attack Saturday night after my 10th straight day of work and I would have ended up in the hospital if I didn't keep myself so well supplied with narcotics, and that (of course) killed any motivation for doing any more homework. Instead I've taken several bubble baths, slept more then I usually do and was sure to support A Thousand Mile Star on a Sunday night outside H-town city limits. That totally rocked.

Finals are finished December 14, I will enter Spring semester with a new motivation and healthier attitude and (hopefully) a more sane work schedule. It's my New Years Resolution. 2005 held too much drama and insanity for Ms. Brandie, I have better luck with even numbered years anyway.

CONCERT UPDATE: A Taste of Chaos tour will be here Feb 22. Lineup is Deftones, Thrice, Atreyu, and As I Lay Dying. Tickets are on sale Dec 10, I'm going for sure and if you want to go let me know so we can orchestrate some ticket buying.

Random: I agree with Gin, I don't like Myspace blog for some reason and I wish more of my friends kept LiveJournals. My 16 year old sister has a myspace and is now an instant messaging freak; our relationship hasn't been this good since I lived with her. I should be in bed...
